i've been thinking a lot about whether to have a guest book at our wedding, and thought i didn't want one. but i saw this on a blog, and i thought it was a super cool idea. why not buy a few bottles of our favorite wine and have guests sign it with their well wishes. that way we could pop open a bottle of wine on our anniversaries and read all the fun messages our guests have written to us on our wedding day. fun!

its been a great weekend. d and i will be meeting with one of our potential caterers tomorrow to discuss pricing. we really like their food, but kind of hesitant, because catering is not their main thing. if they are unable to match the price of the other quotes we've received so far, we'll have to let them go. we shall see....
