i haven't forgotten about my guy in this whole wedding process. d loves adidas, and when i saw this shoe at macy's on saturday, i almost bought 6. one for him and each groomsman. but i restrained myself w/every ounce of self-control and just walked away. but these shoes are perfect.

i love, love, love all things glass. so when i was thinking of dessert, i thought a candy bar would be super cute. but the more i think about it, i don't want dessert to be only the candy bar. i'm thinking of combining some adorable candy-filled apothecary jars and clean, white dessert stands filled w/yummy mini cupcakes, tarts, etc. best of both worlds i think. now i'm on the hunt for apothecary jars.

and o my. look what i found! raw linen! yep. raw linen. i need to research the cost a little more, but i'm figuring the raw linen would look great. i was going to go with simple white polyester, but megan from honey & poppies said that linens make a world of a difference. since then, i've been on this search for a burlap-y linen. i've seen burlap runners, but not a whole tablecloth. but i've struck gold! town & country event rentals out these way cool linens.

i'm actually enjoying blogging all these things. i was pretty hesitant at first, because i thought i had nothing to write about, and thought my blog would be way too scatterbrained. but i'm over it. this blog is going to be me. not going to hide who i am. so w/that said, i think i could write a hundred entries a day. seriously.
