as i looked at all the people who had turned out for my shower, i couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of love. my fave coworker friend mary, hosted the cutest tea party shower yesterday. she and her daughter went to great lengths to transform an elementary classroom, into the most perfect bridal shower setting. it had all my faves-bunting, mason jars, lace, twinkle lights. it was just lovely.
i had talked to the bff on numerous occassions how i don't like being the center of attention. people would think i eat up being in the lime light because i'm pretty out-going and loud. but i get awkward and uncomfortable when it's all about me. but yesterday's shower was actually not too bad. idk if it's because i had already prepped myself, but it was a good balance of me and the people at the shower.
one thing i learned is that it's kinda hard to take pictures at your own shower. but managed to snap a few details. hopefully my friend linda will share her pics soon.
in no particular order, here are all my loves (that i was able to capture) from the shower.

i love pretty paper + cute packaging.
i love orchids. esp. if they're delivered personally by the FI.
i love friends.
i love bunting. this was not an any old bunting. rather, it was borrowed from this friend from her amazing wedding. don't take my word for it. go take a look here, here, here, and here.
annnnnd when i got home, i was greeted with THE CUTEST bridal shower invitation from my maids. srsly, adorable. i have the best bm's EVER. will post pics of that next week.
i'm headed out to yosemite in 2 hours. should be a fun, outdoorsy weekend!
